We see the basement, then give you a written price.
Check the brine tank when adding salt. A hard crust over a hollow is a salt bridge, and regeneration stops until it is broken up.
On a well the iron filter protects the softener. If orange stains come back, have its backwash checked before iron coats the resin.
Sample a well again after pump work, spring flooding or any change in taste, colour or smell.
Spots returning, a brine tank full of water or a valve cycling all night point to an injector, brine line or control valve fault. Call for softener repair before the resin suffers.
