A Stouffville home draws its water from a municipal supply or a private well, and the treatment is different for each. Town water arrives already disinfected. On a well nothing is treated before the water reaches your pressure tank, and keeping it safe is up to the homeowner.

The main shut-off is often boxed in behind drywall or under the stairs. We measure clearance for housings and cartridge changes and find the nearest floor drain. Opening a finished wall, adding a drain line or moving the main line add cost, all shown in the written price first.
On a septic property an iron filter's backwash goes to the tank and bed. We check where it can discharge and how often your water will trigger one; where it must be kept down, a filter that backwashes less often can be the better pick. Drain lines get an air gap so waste water cannot reach the supply.
